Bradford High School's JROTC is an Elective course that can be taken at the 9th grade year and can be taken all through High School. JROTC has many benefits for students, the most notable one is that if they take this course they can go into the Army at a higher rank than starting off as a E-1 or a Private.
JROTC has many events and things we do within the course. Raiders is a prime example of this. Raiders is more of a physical side of JROTC but you get to do a lot of things like: Rope Bridge, CASEvac (A stretcher with weights on it and backpacks with weight in them), Ammo box carry (sand bag carry but with ammo boxes), Tire Flip, and Relay Run.
Our JROTC Program also has a Drill Team, Which is more of marching squads and formations, it takes a large amount of confidence to lead our Drill Team. Our Drill Commander is striving to go to state and hopefully nationals this year!
